Aqua Fresh Ergoline > Refill canister for the sunbed mist system

On Ergoline sunbeds that have it, the Aqua Fresh function sprays a fine mist of Aqua Solar with Skin+ additive inside the unit, so users stay pleasantly cool during the tanning session. Depending on the model, a body nozzle and a head nozzle can be switched on or off separately. Together with the Aroma function, Aqua Fresh is one of the comfort features of Ergoline sunbeds.

The mist system draws its liquid from a 6-litre canister placed inside the unit: Aqua Fresh is that replacement canister. It is the only liquid Ergoline approves for this circuit: no tap water and no other liquid.

• Contents: Aqua Solar with Skin+ additive (as printed on the label).
• Volume: 6000ml, or 1.32 gallons, with a weight of around 6.5kg.
• Label: batch number, best before date and an ‘opened on’ box to write down the opening date.
• Use: for sunbed mist systems only, never mixed with another liquid.

The Aqua Fresh refill is used in Ergoline sunbeds fitted with the Aqua Fresh system, for example some models in the Affinity, Evolution and Prestige ranges, whose operating instructions describe how to replace this 6-litre canister. On many units, Aqua Fresh is an optional extra: check the manual of your sunbed for a section called ‘Replacing the Aqua Fresh canister’.

The Ergoline manual describes the canister change in a few steps:

• Open the base of the sunbed (see the manual for your model).
• Take out the empty canister.
• Unscrew the cap of the new Aqua Fresh canister.
• Remove the lid with the hose from the old canister.
• Screw this lid and hose onto the new canister, and push the hose down until it touches the bottom.
• Put the canister back into the unit and close the base: it locks with a click.

Then purge the mist circuit from the presets menu, as described in the manual of your sunbed. Write the opening date on the label.

Tap water and other liquids damage the sunbed and cause reactions in users: water contaminated with bacteria can lead to skin rashes and other allergic reactions. Ergoline therefore sets strict rules:

• Never fill the canister with tap water or any other liquid.
• Only replace the canister with a genuine Aqua Fresh canister.
• Never pour the liquid left in the old canister into the new one.
• Regularly check the best before date of the canister in use.
• Respect the maximum transport and storage temperature stated by the manufacturer.

Can I fill the Aqua Fresh canister with tap water?

No. Ergoline does not allow it: tap water damages the sunbed, and water contaminated with bacteria causes skin rashes and allergic reactions in your clients. Always replace the empty canister with a new Aqua Fresh canister.

Can I top up a partly used canister with a new one?

No. Never pour the liquid left in the old canister into the new one: change the whole canister and refit the lid with its hose.

Is Aqua Fresh applied to the skin like a skincare product?

No. Aqua Fresh is not a cosmetic you apply by hand: it is the refill for the mist system of the sunbed, which sprays it as a fine mist during the tanning session. To prepare your skin, use a tanning accelerator designed for sunbeds.

How much does an Aqua Fresh refill contain?

One canister contains 6 litres (6000ml) and weighs around 6.5kg.
