Terms and conditions
This English version is a translation provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Version 2026-11-02, applicable to orders placed from 2 November 2026.
1. The seller
The www.cremedebronzage.com shop is operated by ATEQUA S.à r.l., a private limited liability company (société à responsabilité limitée) governed by Luxembourg law, with its registered office at 19 rue de l'industrie, L-8069 Bertrange, Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register (Registre de commerce et des sociétés) under number B128360, VAT number LU21858287 (hereinafter ‘we’ or ‘the seller’).
To contact us: use the form on the Contact page of the website, or email manu@cremedebronzage.com.
2. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to sales concluded on the website with consumers, that is to say natural persons buying for their personal use. Purchases by businesses (beauty salons, tanning salons, retailers) are governed by the trade terms and conditions of sale.
Before placing an order, you must accept these terms and conditions by ticking the box provided for this purpose. The version you accepted is recorded with your order and sent to you as a PDF with the order confirmation.
3. The products
The main characteristics of the products (purpose, size, composition, precautions for use) are set out on each product page. Photos are as accurate as possible but are not contractually binding; in case of doubt, the ingredient list on the packaging prevails.
Some products are sold with a short date (‘Short-dated’ section): the date is then shown on the product page.
Some products are sealed for reasons of hygiene and health protection (sachets, foil-sealed bottles, shrink-wrapped products): this is stated on the product page, in the basket and in the order summary. See article 8 for the consequences for the right of withdrawal.
Offers are valid while stocks last. If a product you ordered turns out not to be available, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer you an equivalent product, later dispatch or a refund for the missing product.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes (VAT at the rate applicable on the day of the order). Delivery charges are shown before you confirm your order and are added to the price of the products.
The price charged is the one displayed when the order is confirmed. Where a reduction is announced, the crossed-out reference price is the lowest price applied during the 30 days before the reduction.
5. The order
To order, you add products to your basket and then follow the steps: sign in (with or without an account), addresses, delivery method, order summary. The order summary lets you check the details of your order and its total price, and correct any errors before confirming it.
The contract is concluded when you click the ‘Order with obligation to pay’ button. We then email you the order confirmation, with these terms and conditions as a PDF.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of an existing dispute with the customer, suspected fraud or an obviously incorrect price; any payment received is then refunded in full.
The seller’s computerised records, kept under reasonable security conditions, constitute proof of orders, payments and communications between the parties. Orders and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium.
6. Payment
Payment is due when you place your order. You can pay:
- by debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Bancontact, on the secure payment page of our payment provider Viva (Viva Payments). No card details pass through or are stored on our website;
- by bank transfer: our bank details are given to you at the end of the order and by email. You must quote your order number as the payment reference. The order is prepared once the transfer is received. If no payment is received after two reminders (sent 5 and 10 days after the order), the order may be cancelled.
If online payment fails, the order remains recorded and you can try the payment again from the link you received by email.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed on the ‘Delivery and payment’ page of the website, to the address or pickup point given when ordering. The delivery methods offered and their prices depend on your address and on the weight and contents of your basket; some products (aerosols, flammable products) cannot be sent by every delivery method.
Around 90% of orders paid before 10:00 on a working day are dispatched the same day; the others usually leave on the next working day. The delivery time shown for each method is an estimate and is not contractually binding: it depends on the carriers, not only on us. You receive an email when your parcel is dispatched, followed by the carrier’s tracking. If your order has not been delivered within 30 days of the order, you may ask us to deliver it within a reasonable additional period and, failing that, cancel the order and be refunded.
The products travel at our risk until they are handed over to you. Please check the condition of the parcel on receipt and report any damaged, opened or incomplete parcel on the carrier’s delivery slip or, failing that, to us as soon as possible (with a photo if you can): we will open an investigation with the carrier and send you the products concerned again or refund them.
If the parcel is returned to us because it was not collected from the pickup point within the time allowed, or because the address given was incorrect or incomplete, we do not send it again: we refund the order to you directly, less a flat-rate amount of €10 covering the delivery and return costs (an amount lower than the costs we actually bear).
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1 Withdrawal period
You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract, without having to give any reason. The period starts on the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, take physical possession of the last product in the order.
8.2 How to withdraw
The simplest way: use the online withdrawal function, available without an account from the ‘Withdrawal’ page of the website (‘Withdraw from contract’ link at the bottom of every page, in your account and in the confirmation email). Simply enter the order number, the email address used and the products concerned, then click ‘Confirm withdrawal’. An acknowledgement of receipt is emailed to you immediately, with a PDF to keep.
You can also send us any other unequivocal statement, for example using the model withdrawal form below, by email or by post to the seller’s address. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your statement before the withdrawal period has expired.
8.3 Returning the products
You must send the products back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal, to the address given in the acknowledgement of receipt. You bear the cost of returning the products. The products must reach us new, unused, in their original packaging and, for sealed products, with their seal intact. On receipt, we check each product: seal intact and weight matching that of a new product. A product that has been opened, started or used suffers a diminished value for which you are liable, which may be as much as the full value of the product, and a sealed product that has been unsealed cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (article 8.5).
8.4 Refund
We refund the price of the returned products and, if you withdraw from the whole order, the standard delivery charge, as required by law (any additional cost of a delivery method more expensive than the cheapest one offered remains payable by you). If you withdraw from part of the order only, delivery charges are not refunded. The refund is made no later than 14 days after we are informed of your withdrawal. The refund is made using the same means of payment as for the order, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
8.5 Exception: sealed products
In accordance with the law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery: this is the case for sachets, foil-sealed bottles and shrink-wrapped products once opened. Products that are still sealed can be returned under the right of withdrawal on the terms set out above.
8.6 Model withdrawal form
We are required by law to provide you with this form. It is simpler to use the online withdrawal function (article 8.2), which replaces it.
To ATEQUA S.à r.l., 19 rue de l'industrie, L-8069 Bertrange, Luxembourg, manu@cremedebronzage.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods:
Ordered on: ... / received on: ...

Address of consumer: ...

9. Legal guarantees
The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery, and by the guarantee against hidden defects. This guarantee covers defects that exist at the time of delivery; in the event of a defect, you can obtain a replacement of the product or, if that is impossible, a price reduction or the termination of the sale.
For cosmetics (oils, creams, accelerators, sachets), conformity is assessed at delivery and within the limits of the date of minimum durability or the period after opening shown on the packaging: the guarantee does not cover deterioration caused by storage conditions after delivery (heat, sunlight, a bottle left open). Equipment (display stands, machines, accessories) is covered by the guarantee under the usual conditions.
These guarantees do not cover damage resulting from use that does not follow the manufacturer’s precautions for use. We are not the manufacturer of the products; liability for defective products lies with the manufacturer or the importer, without prejudice to your rights under the legal guarantees.
10. Liability
We are distributors, not manufacturers. For a question about a product’s formula or how well it is tolerated, or a skin reaction, the manufacturer is best placed to answer: we pass on your request and follow up the reply for you. This does not affect your rights against us under the legal guarantees.
We cannot be held liable where non-performance is due to you, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party to the contract, or to force majeure. The usage advice given on the website or the blog does not replace the precautions for use on the product packaging.
11. Personal data
The personal data collected when you order are used to process your order, deliver it, invoice you and, if you have agreed, send you our offers. Details of the processing, the retention periods and your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, complaint to the CNPD) are set out in the website’s privacy policy.
12. Force majeure
Neither party can be held liable for a failure to perform its obligations due to an event of force majeure, that is to say an event beyond its control, which could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was concluded and whose effects cannot be avoided by appropriate measures.
13. Complaints, mediation and governing law
For any complaint, please contact us first using the contact form or by email: we always look for an amicable solution.
If no solution is found, you can refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: Service national du Médiateur de la consommation, 6 rue du Palais de Justice, L-1841 Luxembourg, www.mediateurconsommation.lu.
These terms and conditions are governed by Luxembourg law. This choice of law cannot deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of your habitual residence. In the event of a dispute, you may bring proceedings before the courts of Luxembourg or those of your place of residence.
14. Miscellaneous
If any clause of these terms and conditions were declared void, the other clauses would remain applicable. Failure to rely on a breach does not constitute a waiver of the right to rely on it at a later date.
