Description

A comforting tanning butter for sensitive skin, with coconut oil and cocoa butter, bronzer-free

Wild Tan by Soleo’s Coconut Tanning Butter is made for delicate skin that still wants to tan. This tanning accelerator butter is formulated for sensitive, reactive or redness-prone skin. It combines coconut oil and cocoa butter, which moisturise the skin and prolong your tan, with hollyhock extract, which reduces redness and irritation. Tyrosine supports the tanning process, and the formula is completely bronzer-free.

At a glance

  • Sensitive skin: hollyhock extract reduces redness and irritation
  • Longer-lasting tan: coconut oil and cocoa butter stimulate melanin
  • Hydration: shea butter and sesame oil help prevent dry skin
  • Sunbed friendly: designed for sunbeds, without damaging the equipment

Fragrance: Coconut with a hint of vanilla
Size: 150ml jar

What does Wild Tan’s Coconut Tanning Butter do?

Coconut Tanning Butter is a tanning butter for sunbed use: a ‘sunbed friendly accelerator’ with a creamy formula that prepares your skin for a faster, more even tan. Its butter texture absorbs quickly and leaves skin smooth, with a coconut fragrance and hints of vanilla.

What sets it apart from the other butters in the range is its gentleness. Sensitive or weakened skin gets soothing, protective care, and an even colour after your tanning sessions. It is also suitable for regular use over several weeks, or for tanning delicate areas gently.

Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter: what’s in the butter

  • Hollyhock extract: reduces redness and irritation, ideal for dry and sensitive skin.
  • Coconut oil and cocoa butter: moisturise the skin, and boost and prolong your tan by stimulating melanin.
  • Tyrosine and acetyl tyrosine: support the tanning process. The formula also contains riboflavin (vitamin B2).
  • Shea butter: deeply moisturises the skin, leaving it soft and smooth.
  • Sesame oil: moisturises the skin in depth and helps prevent dryness.
  • Also contains: tamanu oil and vitamin E, an antioxidant.

How to use Coconut Tanning Butter on a sunbed

Before your tanning session, apply the Coconut butter in an even layer to clean skin, then wash your hands. Stick to the session time recommended by your salon, even if your skin is already tanned. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children. For adult use only. If in doubt, patch test on a small area of skin before use.

Coconut, Watermelon or Carrot: which tanning butter should you choose?

All three Wild Tan butters share a moisturising base and tyrosine, with no bronzers. The difference is your skin type:

  • Coconut Tanning Butter: the most soothing, for sensitive or redness-prone skin.
  • Watermelon Tanning Butter: for normal to dry skin, with a light texture and a fruity watermelon fragrance.
  • Carrot Tanning Butter: for dull skin lacking radiance, with carrot oil, beta-carotene and mango.

Coconut Tanning Butter FAQs

Is Coconut Tanning Butter suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, it is the butter in the range made for sensitive skin. Hollyhock extract reduces redness and irritation, while shea butter and sesame oil moisturise and help prevent dryness.

Does the Coconut butter contain bronzers?

No. Its formula contains no DHA and no erythrulose: your colour comes only from your own tan, which builds gradually and naturally.

No. It contains no SPF and does not protect against sunburn. It is designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.

Is the Coconut butter safe for sunbeds?
