Ampoules Platin - face & décolletage intensifier (Art of Sun)

The skin on your face and décolletage is thinner than on your body, and it is exposed all year round. The Platin ampoules are made just for it: applied before your tanning session, the ampoule supports your skin during UV exposure for a deeper facial tan that lasts, giving you a tanned, healthy-looking complexion session after session.

They are tanning treatments, not day creams: they are designed for sunbeds and suitable for outdoor use when the sun is at its weakest. The Platin ampoules contain no SPF.

The large black 6ml ampoule contains dihydroxyacetone (DHA), the bronzer also used in self-tan products. DHA doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it: on skin that’s already tanned, a tan that has gone dull regains a darker, coppery glow. That’s why we recommend it for olive skin or skin that’s already deeply tanned. The colour from DHA develops in the hours after application.

The small yellow 2ml ampoule contains no DHA: the colour you get is purely your own tan, with no streaks and no orange tone.

• Chasteberry extract (Vitex agnus castus, monk’s pepper): activates the production of melanin, the tanning pigment. In both ampoules.
• Tyrosine (acetyl tyrosine): the amino acid that melanin is made from, which intensifies the tan. In both ampoules.
• Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate): holds moisture in the skin. Only in the 6ml ampoule.
• DHA (dihydroxyacetone): the bronzer that darkens and warms the colour. Only in the 6ml ampoule.

Open the ampoule just before your session. Apply the treatment to clean, dry skin on your face, neck and décolletage. Avoid contact with your eyes and wash your hands after application (especially with the 6ml ampoule, because of the DHA). Stick to the session time recommended by your salon to avoid burning.

For your body, keep using your usual tanning accelerator: the Platin ampoule takes care of your face. For external use only; stop using it if irritation occurs. Store the ampoules in a cool place, away from sunlight.

Both ampoules share the same base (chasteberry and tyrosine). The difference is the bronzer.
