Emerald Bay Beach Daze is a bronzer-free tanning accelerator lotion (an intensifier). It replaces the brand’s much-loved Dark & Dazed and keeps its tropical pineapple and coconut fragrance. Its main ingredient, agave nectar pressed from the heart of the plant, nourishes the skin during your session. Its high tyrosine content stimulates melanin production and speeds up your tan.

Apply Beach Daze before your tanning session to tan faster and deeper. It’s an accelerator in the strictest sense: it contains no bronzers (no DHA, no erythrulose) and doesn’t colour the skin. The tan you get is entirely your own, and the results build session after session.

Your skin relies on two types of cell to tan. Melanocytes produce melanin, the pigment behind your tan. Keratinocytes renew the outer layer of the skin. Beach Daze gives both types of cell the essential nutrients they need to work properly: proteins, vitamins and sugar, a source of energy.

Dark & Dazed was a cult Emerald Bay lotion. Beach Daze takes its place in the range: the same family of bronzer-free accelerator, the same pineapple and coconut fragrance, but a new formula built around agave nectar.   • Tyrosine: the amino acid your skin uses to make melanin, and the go-to ingredient in tanning accelerators. Beach Daze contains a high concentration, which stimulates melanin production and speeds up your tan.
  • Hemp seed oil: cold-pressed, it keeps its vitamins (including antioxidant vitamin E) and minerals (magnesium, iron, zinc). Rich in omega-3 and omega-6, it helps the lotion absorb quickly and easily. Its amino acids support cell renewal.
  • Coconut oil: restores softness and suppleness to dry skin and helps prevent dehydration.
  • Aloe vera: comforts, calms and hydrates the skin with a cocktail of vitamins, minerals and proteins.
