Description
A 400x bronzer for sunbeds, with no DHA, that cares for your skin and brings tattoo colours back to life
Supertan Black Tattoo is an ‘intense tanning bronzer’ from Supertan’s Sunrise range. It gives the skin an even, long-lasting tan, makes it more elastic and softer thanks to collagen and hyaluronic acid, and acts on your tattoo like a secret elixir: it nourishes it, enhances its colour and keeps it vivid. Its sister lotion in the range, Infinity Tan, is also designed for tattooed skin.
At a glance
- 400x bronzer, DHA-free: the colour comes from your own tan, boosted by carrot oil
- Tattoo care: tattoo colour that is nourished, enhanced and vivid
- Skincare: collagen, hyaluronic acid, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and shea butter
- For: fair skin and first sessions, with or without tattoos
Fragrance: Coconut & Papaya
Size: available as a 200ml tube and a 15ml sachet
What does Supertan’s Black Tattoo bronzer do?
Black Tattoo brings three kinds of care together in one sunbed product: tanning, skincare and tattoo care. During your session, carrot oil boosts your natural tan and gives the skin a golden shade, for an even, long-lasting tan all over your body.
Despite its bronzer name, Black Tattoo contains no DHA or erythrulose: it does not colour the skin, your own melanin creates the colour. We recommend it for first sessions and fair skin. For olive skin (Mediterranean or African skin types) or skin that is already deeply tanned, choose a Supertan with bronzers instead, such as Peaches & Coconut Cream: DHA doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it. When melanin is working hard, a tan can turn dull; a touch of DHA makes it more coppery and radiant.
Supertan Black Tattoo key ingredients
- Collagen: regenerates and rejuvenates the skin, leaving it fresher, smoother and more elastic.
- Hyaluronic acid: smooths and hydrates the skin, protects it from water loss and helps prevent wrinkles.
- Carrot oil: boosts your natural tan and gives the skin a golden shade; it also nourishes the skin and helps delay skin ageing.
- Sweet almond oil: supports skin regeneration, with an anti-ageing effect.
- Cocoa and shea butters: they keep moisture in the skin, nourish it and smooth it.
- Chai Hu (bupleurum root): improves the condition and look of the skin, hydrates it and protects it from free radicals.
- Panthenol: speeds up regeneration, soothes irritation and deeply hydrates.
- Also contains: coconut oil, olive oil, centella asiatica, biotin, vitamins C and E, and caffeine.
How to use Black Tattoo on a sunbed
Just before each tanning session, apply an even layer of Black Tattoo all over your body, tattoos included. Wash your hands thoroughly after application. For external use only. Stick to the session time recommended by your salon to avoid burning.
Black Tattoo is designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.
The 200ml tube is for regular use before every session. The 15ml sachet lets you try Black Tattoo and its coconut and papaya fragrance before you buy the tube.
Black Tattoo or Infinity Tan: which Supertan for tattoos?
Both of these Sunrise lotions are made for tattooed skin, and both are DHA-free.
- Black Tattoo: a 400x bronzer with collagen and hyaluronic acid that makes the skin more elastic and softer, with a coconut and papaya fragrance.
- Infinity Tan: an ultra accelerator with the ‘Ink Care’ formula and a coconut complex, which intensifies your tan, nourishes your tattoo and keeps its colours bright, with a tropical lychee fragrance.
Supertan Black Tattoo FAQs
Does Black Tattoo contain DHA?
No. Its formula contains no DHA or erythrulose: the colour comes from your own tan, boosted by carrot oil.
Is Black Tattoo a sun cream for tattoos?
No. Black Tattoo contains no UV filter: it is not a sun cream and has no SPF. It cares for your tattoo and enhances its colour, but offers no protection against UV.
Who is the Black Tattoo bronzer for?
For people with tattoos who want an even, long-lasting tan and care for their tattoo colours. As it is DHA-free, it is especially suited to fair skin and first sessions. For olive skin or skin that is already deeply tanned, choose a Supertan with DHA, such as Peaches & Coconut Cream.
What does Black Tattoo smell like?
Coconut and papaya.
