Catch Fire Push Oil - Tanning oil with tyrosine and melanin

Apply Push Oil before a tanning session on a sunbed to intensify your tan. It’s a tanning accelerator in oil form: tyrosine and melanin work during your session for a more intense, deeper tan.

Push Oil contains no bronzers (no DHA), so all the colour comes from your session. It’s the right choice for your first sessions and for fair skin, while you build your tan. Once your tan is established and starts to look dull, an accelerator with bronzers can take over: DHA doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it into a more coppery tan.

Push Oil contains no SPF. It’s designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.

• Tyrosine (acetyl tyrosine): the amino acid your skin uses to make melanin. It’s the go-to ingredient in tanning accelerators.
• Melanin: the pigment that gives tanned skin its colour. Push Oil pairs it with tyrosine for a deeper tan.
• Glycerin: a classic moisturising ingredient in skincare.

Apply Push Oil to clean, dry skin just before your tanning session, in a thin, even layer. Wash your hands after application. Stick to the session time recommended by your salon for your skin type to avoid burning.

The 2ml and 6ml ampoules are mainly for the face and décolletage, while the 20ml and 100ml bottles and the 100ml spray are for the whole body. It’s the same product in every size: choose according to the area you want to cover and how many sessions you have planned.

Both Catch Fire tanning accelerators are built on melanin. The difference lies in the formula and the format.

Does Push Oil contain SPF?

No. Push Oil is a tanning oil with no SPF, so it doesn’t protect your skin from UV. It’s designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.

Does Push Oil contain bronzers?

No. Push Oil contains neither DHA nor erythrulose: your tan comes entirely from your session, boosted by tyrosine and melanin.

Will Push Oil tan you without a sunbed or the sun?

No. Push Oil contains no bronzers and doesn’t replace UV exposure. It’s an accelerator that supports a natural tan built under the UV of a sunbed.

Which size of Push Oil should I choose?

For the face and décolletage, a 2ml or 6ml ampoule is enough. For the whole body, choose the 20ml bottle, the 100ml bottle or the 100ml spray. The product is the same in every size.

What’s the difference between tyrosine and melanin?

Tyrosine is the amino acid your skin uses to make melanin. Melanin is the pigment that colours your skin as it tans. Push Oil combines the two, while Push Wax is built around pure melanin.
