Dark Chocolate (Tan Desire) - Intense bronzer for instant and gradual colour, with safflower oil and cocoa butter

Dark Chocolate is a bronzer: a tanning accelerator that also works on colour. On a sunbed, it works on two levels. Tyrosine, the amino acid that is a precursor of melanin, speeds up your tan during the session. The bronzing agents work on colour: caramel gives a tanned look as soon as you apply it, walnut extract helps a golden tan appear faster and last longer, and DHA, in a high dose, keeps working in the hours after your session.

Dark Chocolate contains bronzers. DHA doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it: on skin that is already tanned, a tan that has gone dull regains deep, coppery tones. That is why we recommend it for olive skin or skin that is already well tanned.

UV sessions dry out the skin. Dark Chocolate is enriched with safflower oil (4%), which strengthens the skin barrier and hydrates for a long time, plus cocoa butter and coconut oil. The result: well cared-for skin that is velvety soft, hydrated and radiant.

• Vitamin E: an antioxidant that protects the skin from external aggressors (tocopheryl acetate).
• Also contains: glycerin, shea butter and niacin (vitamin B3).

Apply Tan Desire Dark Chocolate to clean, dry skin before your tanning session, in a thin, even layer all over your body. Wash your hands thoroughly after application: DHA, walnut extract and caramel also colour the palms. Stick to the session time recommended by your salon to avoid burning.

Dark Chocolate contains no SPF: it is designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest. The 15ml sachet lets you try the product, and the bottle suits regular use.

These three Tan Desire products are made for different skin types. The main difference is whether they contain bronzers.

Does Dark Chocolate contain bronzers?

Yes. Dark Chocolate contains DHA, combined with walnut extract and caramel. The tan from your session is boosted by colour that shows straight away and deepens over the following hours.

Is Dark Chocolate suitable for fair skin?

It is not the best choice to start with. For fair skin or your first sessions, choose a bronzer-free accelerator such as Not Guilty. Dark Chocolate takes over once your base tan is in place.

Does Dark Chocolate contain SPF?

No. Dark Chocolate contains no SPF. It is not a sun cream and does not protect the skin from UV.
