Hot! DHA Bronzer, formerly Hot! Black (Australian Gold): sunbed cream with DHA bronzers

Hot! DHA Bronzer works in two stages. As soon as you apply it, its natural and cosmetic bronzers give instant colour. Over the following hours, DHA (dihydroxyacetone) reacts with the surface layer of the skin and deepens your tan further. FadeDefy™ technology helps your tan last longer.

Hot! DHA Bronzer is designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.

• DHA and DermaDark®: a high level of DHA, combined with natural and cosmetic bronzers, for deep colour. The formula also contains black walnut shell extract, melanin and caramel.
• Active Aloe® Sincere Skincare Blend: Australian Gold’s patented base, rich in concentrated aloe vera, which cares for and hydrates dry skin, with rocket, velvet bean, mangosteen and quercetin.
• Upgraded Biosine Complex®: softens and soothes the skin, leaving it smooth, silky and radiant for the best tanning results.
• FadeDefy™ technology: helps you enjoy your tan for longer.

Before your session, apply a thin, even layer of Hot! DHA Bronzer to clean, dry skin over all exposed areas, then wash your hands thoroughly so your palms don’t stain. Stick to the session time recommended by your salon and space out your sessions to avoid burning. For external use only.

Australian Gold’s Hot! range has four products. They share the Cocoa Dreams fragrance and the Active Aloe® base, but they don’t give the same result:

• Hot!: the classic tanning accelerator, with no DHA and no bronzers, for UV sunbeds. It intensifies your natural tan, session after session.
• Hot! Hybrid: the same bronzer-free approach, designed for UV sunbeds, red light beds and hybrid beds that combine the two.
• Hot! Bronze: an instant bronzer with no DHA. Its natural bronzers, such as DermaDark®, give an even, natural-looking tan from the very first session.
• Hot! DHA Bronzer (formerly Hot! Black): the strongest version, with a high level of DHA. Instant colour, then a tan that keeps developing after your session (the product on this page).

Our advice: go bronzer-free for your first sessions and for fair skin; choose bronzers for olive or darker skin (Mediterranean or African skin types) or skin that’s already well tanned. DHA doesn’t create colour, it transforms it: when your skin is asked to produce a lot of melanin, a tan can turn dull, and DHA makes it more coppery and natural-looking. Hot! DHA Bronzer is therefore made for olive skin and regular sunbed users. For fair skin or your first sessions, start with the bronzer-free Hot!.

Are Hot! Black and Hot! DHA Bronzer the same product?

Yes: it’s the same Australian Gold product, which we sold until now as Hot! Black. Its official name is Hot! DHA Bronzer.

Who is Hot! DHA Bronzer for?

Olive or darker skin (Mediterranean or African skin types) and skin that’s already well tanned. It’s unisex and suits men and women alike.

What’s the difference between Hot! DHA Bronzer and Hot! Bronze?

Both give an instant bronzed look. Hot! Bronze contains no DHA; Hot! DHA Bronzer contains a high level of it, so its colour keeps developing after your session.
