A bronzer is a sunbed product that contains DHA: it adds its own colour to the tan you build on the sunbed, while melanin, the pigment behind a natural tan, forms under UV light. How do the bronzers in Soleo Hunter work? Hunter contains DHA (dihydroxyacetone), the best-known bronzing ingredient, erythrulose and caramel, a brown colourant. Without needing UV, DHA reacts with the surface of the skin and darkens it in the hours after application; erythrulose works the same way, more slowly. Applied to the face, Hunter also works as a face bronzer for sunbed users.

Our advice: Hunter is made for olive or dark skin (Mediterranean or African skin types) and skin that is already deeply tanned. DHA doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it: when melanin is pushed hard, a tan can look dull; a touch of DHA makes it more coppery, brighter and more natural. How to use Soleo Hunter on a sunbed Just before each tanning session, apply an even layer of Hunter all over your body and, if you like, on your face (the tube says ‘Face and Body’). After application, wash your hands thoroughly so you don’t stain your palms. Use it before every session to boost your tan and make it last longer. For external use only.
