An ultra tanning intensifier with protective green tea, bronzer-free, for a faster, longer-lasting sunbed tan
Soleo Lime Mousse Ultra Intensifier is a bronzer-free tanning accelerator for sunbed use, from the Soleo Basic collection. As its name says, it’s a tanning intensifier: a high dose of tyrosine helps your natural tan appear faster and last longer. Green tea extract, shea butter and aloe vera nourish and hydrate the skin and protect it from free radicals, with a fresh lime and grape fragrance. In our tanning accelerators section, it’s the one to choose for medium-tanned skin if you don’t want bronzers.
Fragrance: Lime with Grapes
Size: available as a 15ml sachet and a 150ml bottle
Lime Mousse is a pure accelerator: it adds no artificial colour and stimulates melanin production during UV exposure. Your tan appears faster and lasts longer.
This sunbed cream also cares for the skin: it deeply hydrates, restores elasticity and leaves the skin very smooth. Shea butter and green tea extract work together to nourish and regenerate the skin and protect it from free radicals and premature ageing: this is the anti-ageing action of the formula.
Soleo lists Lime Mousse among its ‘Accelerators’, and the tube describes it as an ‘Ultra tanning intensifier with protective green tea extract’. Its key ingredients are printed on the front: ‘ULTRA INTENSIFIER: Aloe vera, Shea butter, Green tea’.
Lime Mousse contains no DHA and no erythrulose: the tan you get is the one your skin makes itself during the session, with no tinted palms and no bronzer smell.
Our advice: a bronzer-free accelerator like Lime Mousse is the right choice for your first sessions and for fair skin that is building its tan, as well as for medium-tanned skin. For olive skin or skin that’s already deeply tanned, choose an accelerator with bronzers such as Summer Night. DHA doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it: when melanin is working hard, a tan can turn dull, and a touch of DHA makes it more coppery and radiant.
Just before each tanning session, apply an even layer of Soleo Lime Mousse all over your body, then wash your hands thoroughly. For external use only. Stick to the exposure time recommended by your salon to avoid burning.
Lime Mousse is designed for sunbeds and can also be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.
The formula is the same in both sizes. The 15ml sachet lets you try the Lime with Grapes fragrance before moving to the larger size. The 150ml bottle is the practical size to use at every session and maintain your tan. Choose your size from the list at the top of the page.
These are the two Soleo Basic tanning intensifiers. Both are bronzer-free, with very similar bases: tyrosine, shea butter, hemp oil, monoi, green tea and aloe vera.
For beginners or occasional tanning, Soleo Hello Sun, the range’s ultra accelerator with cocoa butter, is the other bronzer-free option. Find every fragrance and effect in the Soleo Basic collection.
No: there is no DHA or erythrulose in its formula. Your colour comes only from your sunbed tan.
No: its formula contains no UV filter, so no SPF. It is not a sun cream.
Medium-tanned skin and anyone who doesn’t like products with bronzers. It also suits fair skin and first sessions, building a tan session after session.

Item received very quickly, with samples too. No hindsight yet as I’m trying it for the first time, but the consistency and smell are very pleasant.

Big bottle but only 2/3 full... What’s the point?

Reply from Creme de Bronzage: According to the manufacturer, it’s a cost-cutting measure. These bottles are the cheapest from their supplier, and since it’s a very inexpensive product, every cent saved counts. On the other hand, you have to admit they don’t lie about the actual size. It’s still very cheap if you compare the price per litre. That said, if the product works well, why only give it 3 stars out of 5?
I only started using this mousse recently, so I don’t know whether it actually speeds up tanning, but it’s very pleasant to apply and leaves the skin soft and non-greasy. It’s more of a cream texture than a mousse texture.
Excellent.
