Body Butter’s Warming Leg Oil is a tingle tanning oil made especially for legs: its warming sensation activates the skin during your session for a darker tan and a golden glow where colour is hardest to build.

Legs often tan more slowly than the upper body, even with regular UV sessions. Warming Leg Oil is made just for them: it is a sunbed tanning accelerator, more fluid than creams and lotions. It contains no bronzers of any kind: the colour comes from the melanin produced during your sessions, and the oil takes that tan further, for tanned skin right down to your ankles. Its coconut fragrance and spray bottle make application quick, with no cream marks.

What’s in Warming Leg Oil?

• Benzyl nicotinate: the warming agent. It activates surface microcirculation, which causes the heat, the tingle and the redness after application.
• Nine plant oils: safflower, coconut, walnut, sesame, jojoba, avocado, macadamia, plum kernel and olive, with carrot root extract. They nourish the skin and leave legs supple, smooth and glossy, with a radiant tan.
• Vitamin E, an antioxidant.
• Three marine algae extracts: Hypnea, Gelidiella and Sargassum.

How to apply it

Before your session, spray the oil onto your legs and apply it generously, massaging until the skin is evenly covered. For a more even result, exfoliate the day before: skin free of dead cells takes colour more evenly. Wash your hands thoroughly after application.

The first time, do a patch test on a small area of skin: the warming sensation is strong and redness can appear several hours after use.

Does Warming Leg Oil contain bronzers? No. No DHA and no bronzer: your tan comes from your sessions, with no risk of streaks or an orange tint. It is a pure accelerator, unlike a self tan for legs.

Why do my legs feel hot and go red? That’s the tingle effect of benzyl nicotinate: the heat and redness are intended. Redness can appear several hours after application, so do a patch test on a small area the first time.

This product causes intense redness and a feeling of heat: that is the intended effect. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Stop using if irritation occurs. It contains no SPF and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin can increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer and other harmful effects, even without sunburn. Outdoors, avoid the hottest hours of the day and use suitable sun protection. Store the bottle in a cool place, away from sunlight. Use within 12 months of opening.
