Supertan Celebration - Moisturising gel tanning accelerator, bronzer-free, champagne scent

A tanning activator, or tanning accelerator, boosts the production of melanin, the pigment that colours the skin, during UV exposure. Celebration’s label carries three claims: ‘Activator’, ‘Hydro gel formula’ and moisturiser. So it is a gel activator and a moisturiser. Supertan, the American brand of professional tanning cosmetics, designed it for unforgettable moments: a gel that sinks in within seconds, carefully blended moisturising actives that leave skin looking good, and a champagne scent that lingers long after your session.

Celebration is neither a lotion nor a cream: its gel texture spreads in a thin, even layer all over the body. It contains no UV filter: it is designed for sunbeds and can be used outdoors when the sun is at its weakest.

Celebration contains no DHA or erythrulose: your colour comes only from your own melanin, boosted during your tanning session. No streaks, no orange palms, no DHA smell: your tan builds session after session.

Supertan recommends it for fair skin and people who tan irregularly. It’s also what we recommend for your first sessions. For olive skin or skin that’s already deeply tanned, choose a Supertan lotion with bronzers instead, such as Peaches & Coconut Cream with its high dose of DHA. Bronzers don’t create the colour, they transform it: when your melanin works hard, the tan turns dull, and a touch of DHA makes it more coppery and radiant.

The formula is vegan and paraben-free, and the product is not tested on animals.

Just before each tanning session, apply an even layer of Celebration all over your body. The gel absorbs instantly. Wash your hands thoroughly after application. For external use only, before every tanning session. Stick to the session time recommended by your salon to avoid burning.
