Body Butter’s Karat Gel is a tanning accelerator gel for face and body: it absorbs in seconds, stimulates melanin during your session and leaves skin soft, firm and hydrated, for a deep, radiant tan.

Karat Gel is the fresh, light version of the Karat range. No rich texture to rub in: the gel spreads easily, isn’t sticky and is also suitable for the face. It contains no bronzers of any kind and no tingle agent: the colour comes from your tanning sessions, and the gel makes them more effective with acetyl tyrosine and carrot extract. Its patchouli and jasmine fragrance makes a change from the usual coconut scents.

What’s in Karat Gel?

• Carrot root extract (the ‘Helio Carrot Oil’ of the Karat range) and acetyl tyrosine: the duo that stimulates melanin production for a faster, darker tan.
• ATP (adenosine triphosphate): energy for the cells, for skin that responds better to your sessions.
• Firming peptides (palmitoyl tripeptide-38, known as Matrixyl synthe'6): firmer, smoother skin, on the face and on the body.
• Aloe vera, glycerin and panthenol: they moisturise and soothe the skin before exposure.
• Shea butter, jojoba and baobab oils: in small amounts in the gel, they soften the skin without feeling greasy.
• Vitamin E and three marine algae extracts (Hypnea, Gelidiella and Sargassum).

How to apply it

Before your session, apply the gel evenly to clean, dry skin on your body and face, then massage in until fully absorbed: it only takes a few seconds. Wash your hands after application. For an even tan, exfoliate the day before and moisturise your skin after each session.
