Soleo Orange Cake is a tanning accelerator for sunbed use, from the Soleo Basic collection. Bronzer-free, it helps you tan faster during your session thanks to tyrosine and the V-2002 accelerator complex, while nourishing the skin with Tahitian monoi, cocoa butter, safflower oil and hemp extract. What is the Soleo Orange Cake tanning accelerator? A tanning accelerator stimulates the production of melanin, the pigment that colours the skin, during UV exposure. Orange Cake is made first and foremost for fair skin, people who tan unevenly and anyone who doesn’t want bronzers. From the first application, it gives a deeper tan and shortens the time it takes to reach a nice brown shade.

The tube label sums up its formula: ‘V-2002 Accelerator, Safflower oil, Hemp, Cocoa butter’, meaning the accelerator complex, safflower oil, hemp and cocoa butter.

Why choose a bronzer-free accelerator? Orange Cake contains no DHA and no erythrulose: your colour comes only from your own melanin, stimulated during the tanning session. No streaks, no orange palms: your tan builds session after session.

That’s our advice for first sessions and fair skin. For olive or dark skin (Mediterranean or African skin types) or skin that’s already deeply tanned, choose a Soleo Basic with bronzers instead, such as Sunset Time: a bronzer doesn’t create the colour, it transforms it. When melanin is working hard, a tan can turn dull; a touch of DHA makes it more coppery, more radiant and more natural-looking.

Soleo Orange Cake key ingredients

• Tyrosine and the V-2002 complex: tyrosine is the amino acid the skin uses to make melanin, and the standard active ingredient in tanning accelerators. The V-2002 complex supports its action: the formula includes acetyl tyrosine, ATP and riboflavin (vitamin B2).
• Tahitian monoi oil: tiare flowers soaked in coconut oil. It nourishes and softens the skin and gives it a delicate scent.
• Cocoa butter: rich in fatty acids, it nourishes and softens the skin and leaves it feeling velvety.
• Safflower oil: from the safflower plant (also called dyer’s saffron), it is one of the plant oils richest in polyunsaturated fatty acids, and a good antioxidant.
• Hemp extract: hemp seed oil, rich in essential fatty acids, soothes the skin and protects it from drying out.
• Aloe vera and sodium PCA: they hydrate the skin during and after the session, so it stays supple and comfortable.
• Orange oil: a slimming oil that also gives the sweet orange cake fragrance.
• Chamomile, green tea and vitamin E: soothing and antioxidant, they protect the skin from free radicals.

How to use Soleo Orange Cake on a sunbed Just before your session, apply Orange Cake evenly to clean, dry skin all over your body. Wash your hands after application. Stick to the exposure time recommended by your salon to avoid burning. Used at every session, it speeds up your tan.
